Local gov pension death
Trying to get rough idea of how much my husband would receive from my lgs pension if I die first. The info on their website is very confusing, any advice

Nobody here will be able to tell you without all sorts of details about your pension contributions history.
Your spouse, civil partner or eligible cohabiting partner will receive part of your pension. It will be paid for the rest of their life. Generally, this is:
30.625% of the pension you built up from April 2014
37.50% of the pension you built up between April 2008 and March 2014
50% of the pension you built up before April 2008.
So whatever the LGPS statements are saying your pension will be - the spousal pension will be 30-50% of that amount. Closer to 30% than 50%.

Are you already retired and drawing your pension?

But reductions for early retirement/commutation are ignored.
There may also be a one-off tax free lump sum if the pensioner died within the guarantee period (5 or 10 years, depending on date of leaving) and the spouse is the nominated beneficiary.
A bit more information from OP would be useful. Specifically dates of service and if pension is deferred or in payment.
