UC/Interest
Hi my understanding is that personal injury compensation is disregarded for a period of 52 weeks from when it lands in the bank account. And if placed in a trust it's disregarded indefinitely for UC. When the compensation is put into a trust account any interest paid on the money is this also disregarded?

Automatic Conversion of Legacy CB ESA to NS ESA.
'Old Style' CB ESA apparently no longer exists and existing awards have already been converted to 'New Style' ESA. Whilst most people who had Legacy 'CB Only' ESA will not really notice the difference what it does mean is that if their circumstances change then they can now no longer get any IR ESA (the premiums) added to…

Quick PIP Question
Hello, I sent my PIP review form back in September 2024, I understand that they are backlogged, my award is due to end around the April 3rd 2025, I've read that they tend to send you an extension letter 35 days before it's due to end, is that correct because I've not received anything other than 2 texts saying they've…

No notification received yet about Winter Fuel Allowance
Apparently letters were supposed to go out to State Pensioners in Oct/Nov notifying them of upcoming WFA. I was receiving it no problem before (except last year) now I am having a bit of a panic as I haven’t heard from DWP. I am on State Pension only no extra personal pensions. Anyone else experiencing a delay?

Confused about old WTC (supposed) overpayments
I recently got awarded UC and on my first statement, I saw tax credits debt being collected, no notification or explanation beforehand. I went to the DWP debt management portal to check what I owed, and I saw 2 amounts going back to 2015 and 2022. Now, an overpayment was something I was disputing earlier but I was never…
