WCA + med. 10 will be sent off by hospital representative
My hospital appointee today collected my wca. She said it will likely take her two weeks to fill in and send back in the freepost envelope. I said that's fine as long as they have it. Will I be able to check my statement on the 17th November and get paid on the 21st November? Has anyone been through this in a hospital setting? I'm on long term as I have a trache, hypotension, cannot speak yet or swallow.

Quoted incase OP deletes the comment, like they did in previous thread. If there's any entitlement to UC then yes payment will be 21st November. Your statement will give you the full breakdown and will tell you if there's any entitlement and what to expect in your bank. (if anything)
it could potentially be at least a few months for a decision to be made on the WCA.

that's fine as long as uc is paying me. As I have no expenditure £400+ is fine for now. Then when the other bits kick in that'll be great. How long would universal credit pay you for? And how much is lcwra?

UC pays for as long as you have a low enough income and savings to qualify for it.
LCWRA is £217.26 for new claimants (or £429.80 for government-deemed "severe conditions" or terminal illness)

ok thanks. I thought LCRW paid more.

It used to, before they cut it for new claimants. The severe conditions/terminal illness rate is the full amount paid for claimants qualifying before April this year.

It used to… that's why I was keen for you to resolve existing claim rather than make new claim when you may not even qualify for UC due to income or savings (only you can tell…and I don't understand why you seem to be ignoring this) I can't tell if it would have made a difference.. maybe not if health condition reported after the changes…. as we seem to have lost previous thread (s)…. shame you just didn't continue previous thread

Are you not receiving £3.2k group income protection a month as mentioned in your deleted thread?

Is there more than one deleted thread? When I was reading the (now) deleted thread it seemed to start halfway through a series of conversations that left me totally confused as to what the query / problem was. It's almost like there had been another thread prior to that, or at least some posts.

Their profile says 8 threads but there’s only 4 to view so 4 have been deleted. In the most recent thread on here I remember reading it yesterday and thought some of it didn’t make sense and it seemed like some comments had been removed.
It’s frustrating when this happens because OP has come for advice but we can only give advice based on information received.
They do seem to be ignoring the £3.2k monthly Group income protection they are receiving. I can’t see how there would be any entitlement to UC based on this alone. Even without that, didn’t I read that they gave some of their money away?4 -
I know I was reading at least one thread that disappeared which said they were getting £3.2k a month in group income protection (GIP) payments. It also made reference to reapplying for UC after their capital reduced below £16k after giving £1500 to their parents for an emergency.
I did rely to a thread myself about their GIP which is still there for now. In that one they said about their GIP.
"they sent me a report and it shows that they paid me 20 days annual holiday but I only got 3.6k when it should have been around 5.3k. The tax was 1000+ I believe and that wasn't on top on gip either which I don't get as I should've got about 8k. I don't understand why they pay one but not the other. If I request my holiday and annual leave it should be in addition to my gip every month not separate."
Despite mentioning income and capital savings in previous threads OP then persistently ignored any questions about it. Presumably they have declared both capital and income correctly in their UC claim.
