Probably a stupid YouView question.
I had sky for years and cancelled last year. I don't miss the channels but do miss the ability to record. I tried an enigma 2 box but couldn't get on with it. I found it overly complicated and the 'series' link just worked whenever it felt like so I missed a lot of shows. And with no catch up facilities either I found it…

BT Sport via Chromecast
I'm thinking of switching to BT in order to get BT Sport (that's the main thing i want really). Just wondered if anyone has used the BT Sport app to cast live sport to their Chromecast. Wondering does it buffer? What's the picture quality like? cheers

Virgin Media Fandango
Ignoring the hiatus that surrounded Virgin Media as they got everything totally screwed with the initial installation at our property, I am now having frustrating problems in getting them to rectify a problem with their system . Our Tivo box went dead two months ago so we phoned for an engineer to call ,three weeks later…

Free 2tb Sky box plus cash back and prepaid credit card.
Currently if you sign up for Sky via quidco you can get cash back (£115 for the family package), 6 months half price TV and a prepaid credit card up to £75 in value. What isn't published is the fact you can get the 2tb box for free. You'll get the option to choose your box and you'll notice the 2tb box is £149. However, if…

Latest BT Bill wrong - BT Sport
I have read and contributed to the thread on BT Sport for fiver debacle. I for one rang up and 'downgraded' to free BT Sport Lite and confirmed no recontract. Latest BT Bill came in today and I have been charged the £5 a month for BT Sport. Looks like another call to BT tomorrow to get this sorted out. I have kept the date…

Part payment returned by cheque (haven't cashed)....
Hello I've had a television licence for almost 3 years now. Year 1 - monthly payments cancelled after the sixth payment once 145.50 was reached. Same thing for year 2. Year 3 - quarterly plan was seemingly set up. Once properly realised or something, I didn't like the idea of paying an additional five pounds. 2 of the 4…

Targeted Advertising, How?
Last night I was watching Sky Living on channel 107 on my sat receiver, when an advert appeared for a local garage selling cars. How do they target adverts for specific postcodes, I assume that is how it is done, when there is only one channel broadcasting Sky Living? I can understand all the BBC and ITV channels but Sky…

Smart TV features without a smart TV?
We'd like to buy a TV for my daughter - however the smart TV we liked the look of has poor reviews due to it being the new Tizen OS and missing a lot of catch up TV. We'd like Netflix as a priority, I player and Amazon, but the other free catch ups such as itv and 4 would be a bonus. I've now been told you can get things…

How do you cancel SkyTV without speaking to a human being...
...I really can't be bothered to ring up and go through Sky's Cancellation process, is there a way I can do this without speaking to anyone. I've already cancelled my Direct Debit, but that doesn't constitute a cancellation. What would be a next step? I don't mind writing a letter to the correct place. Thanks,

All Scottish football is now being shown on BT so no longer need the sky sports and I have cancelled this, with a saving of £17/mth but my monthly cost is still £94.10! My contract is not up until…

What can I do with my Sky sub which I don't need?
Hi, I've subscribed to Sky Original bundle (£20), but I don't really need it as I don't watch Sky and have a Freeview PVR. Does anyone know where would be the best place to sell it, or what else to do with it? I have a full 12 months remaining. Thanks

Cheapest football on tv
Being retired I'm on a budget but I like my football on TV and as everthing is so confusing I'd appreciate advice on the cheapest way to watch football. I have sky broadband, Sky sports and Eurosport but the costs are creeping up again and with BT, there is less and less football on offer. I can't get fibre broadband, so…

65% off Sky Family bundle
Is it worth it? They have offered it to me for £11.88 per month rather than £36 per month. I only have internet with them through this websites deal for nothing for a year. Does any one have it and is it good?

Sky Sports and Movies £26.50 per month for six months for Sky customers.
Not the best deal ever but might be of interest to someone. On the 'My Offers' section of 'My Sky' you can currently (until 9th August) get Sky Movies for £1 per month for six months when you take out a Sky Sports subscription. Making a total of £26.50 per month, a saving of £8 per month over the usual cost, or £48 in…

Cannot downgrade Sky?
Hi there, I have the Family Bundle but due to a new smart TV, i'm making use of the apps (Netflix, 4oD, iPlayer etc). So my Sky is just wasting away. I wanted to downgrade from the Family Bundle to the original but the operator said I am in contract with them for the Bundle, rather than the TV services itself. I've been…
