Getting out of TalkTalk contract

I've been with TalkTalk for some time. I moved home in December and took all my services with me. Due to needing access to my upstairs neighbours loft to get to the aerial, yesterday was the first time I was able to plug in my YouView box. I was shocked to realise that I'd lost most of the channels. After doing some research I found that the channels you receive depend on where you live. Unfortunately the FreeView website confirmed that my new postcode receives next to no channels. I contacted TalkTalk to discuss ending my contract. I was unaware that moving house would not only result in lost channels, but would also automatically start a new 18 month contract. Is there anything I can do? Any help would be much appreciated, as I'm not very confident with these sort of things.

Death voids your contract .
A move starts a new contract that is normal or you have to pay off your old contract .
Question is asked weekly on the forum .
Freeview is region specific and some areas need a larger /longer aerial . Thats up to you to check . It would be worth checking with neighbours to see what they get over aerial .
Bear in mind that the YouView service has channels over the internet .0
