Virgin Media to make your WiFi hub public access
Yes . they intend to turn my/your property int a WiFi hotspot. Received a message from them informing me of their intention which considering the agro I have had from them is a downright insult AS we have a main road outside with a lay-by we would have cars stopping at all times of the day and night while their occupants…

Sky TV offer mistake on upgrade
I recently phoned up sky looking to see what offers there were to add movies and boxsets to my package. They informed me that the family bundle is normally £36/month and that they would give it to me half price for 12 months at £18/month. In total the upgrade and addition of the movies was going to cost me £7 less per…

Black & white TV license
I pay a standard TV license but have just seen on the website that you can get a black and white TV license for £49 per year. This may be a stupid question but if I were to change the display settings on my TV to black and white would I be able to pay a black & white TV license? Uns :)ure of whether the license is to…

TV License dilemma
OK so I think I have made a huge mistake... After reading advice about when a TV licence is required, I believed it applied to my situation and I cancelled it. I do not watch TV but my husband is obsessed with box sets and films. Before I went on to maternity leave last year, I needed to make some serious financial cut…

Virgin Media V Box
We have just moved house and having been Virgin Media customers since 2000, negotiated a deal with them in which we got free installation, a loyalty discount of £17 a year and a free V box in the bedroom (have TIVO box on main telly). Is the V box just the same as freeview plus or are there more channels? Haven't had a…

BT Sport price increase - auto opt in
Hi Some background, I'm a BT Sport TV only customer I watch it through Sky and the iPad app. In March this year I decided I wasn't watching BT Sport enough to warrant the cost so rang up to cancel. TV Licence Cancellation etc
Hi All, New to the site. I am at present with Virgin, having their T.V., broadband and phone package, which is £59.68. Considering that I am so skint, I want to cancel the tv bit, but keep the internet. Not sure about the phone, but I have a mobile anyway. Then, because I've cancelled the tv, I want to cancel my tv…

Freesat or Freeview
I will be cancelling my sky sub in a few weeks. It is marked in my calendar when I can cancel. I have no digital aerial although all TV's in the house have freeview built in. I almost picked up freeview for a day but no luck and no booster aerial works either. I enquired about Freeview and Freesat with an engineer who was…

My fairly new Smart TV won't work any more. The name Smart comes on and then the five icons, but then nothing else. Can you help?

Talk Talk TV
Has any one on here used Talk Talk TV service? I currently have freeview and Now but would be interested in getting more channels. My realistic options are Virgin or Talk talk as I do not want a sky dish. Virgin seems expensive to get popular channels such as sky 1 or fox. I can't get fibre here so BT TV is not available.

Can I swap my Sky+HD box for a 2TB one I have from a friend?
I have a Sky+HD box already and my friend has cancelled their Sky so they've got a 2TB box going spare. Could I use this instead of my Sky Box with no cost implications? Is it just easy to swap them over? Thanks in advance.:)

On NowTV Deal? How to get it extended...
So I took the NowTV deal for SkyMovies at £4.99 a month for three months. To be honest, given the volume of content it's still not cheap, but they do tend to be particularly good over Christmas... Anyway. It was due to double to £9.99pcm from October, so I went it today to cancel it. If you go right through the motions, it…
