Leaving Virgin Mecia
Has anyone actually cancelled Virgin Media and given 30 days notice? I'm out of contract now with them and rang up for a better deal to stay but they only offered me a poultry discount! I'm wondering whether to call their bluff and say I'm leaving but worried what will happen if they agree and let me go! Can I ring them…

What's the cheapest way to record TV programmes
I was thinking about getting a Digital TV recorder (have seen ones that look ok, second hand but good reviews, for <£100), but I'm confused - if I plug it into my (non-smart, but reasonably modern) Freeview Samsung TV, and programme it to record upcoming programmes, will that eat up my broadband allowance? I only have a…

Cancelling Sky TV
I am thinking of cancelling Sky TV. Someone said we will still be able to watch TV because the box will still work with some functions removed (e.g. recording). Is it true? And should I return the Sky box? Some advice would be much appreciated. Many thanks

Has Sky gone bad?
I've just spend 1/2 hour cancelling Sky+ which I cancelled last June. I was put though to 5 difference people; left hanging on for 20 minutes either music or a dead line. The last person was the worst - Derek the final person - left hanging on for 5 minutes to finally cancel it (which I don't think has been done, as no…

Sky at a second 'holiday' property
I have a Sky package in our primary UK property that I am very satisfied with. We own a second UK property that has a Sky dish and box (with card), but we do not subscribe at this second address. Without purchasing a second 'stand alone' Sky package, what is the best way to become a Sky viewer at this second property?…

Hay i brought my first house sep 2013. i got a tv license shortly after and they charged me around £24.25 DD for the first 6 months then the normal £12.12. British Eurosport - Eurosport Player discounted membership?
Hi All Has anyone found a reliable way to get a discounted membership of British Eurosport - Eurosport Player? The normal cost is £4.99 per month unless you subscribe for a whole year, which I don't want to do. Most of the discount codes online have expired or are actually not really discount codes - they say from £5 per…

Virgin media cannot get contract right.
I am getting Virgin installed tomorrow, though am tempted to cancel given how inept they have been over my contract. I was originally getting services installed on 18/12/15 but changed it to tomorrow. I also paid a year's line rental up front. Virgin keep sending me out the wrong contract, I keep ringing and asking them to…

Questions about Netflix and similar
I currently have TV, phone and broadband with Sky at £60/month, and I'm looking to change to save money. Because I don't use the landline at all, it seems logical to get unlimited broadband (Fuel is £16.40/month for 12 months and then only £21.40/month after that), and then a streaming service, resulting in £25-£30/month…

BT TV Basic £10 Activation Fee?
Hi all, The latest email says the following: I have BT Infinity. However, when I log into my account and try to add the most basic BT TV package, the activation fee is showing as £49, not £10. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.
