Cancelling BT Sport for the summer

Options
That's that done. Today I've cancelled all my BT Sport channels for the summer, saving me £5 per month (not counting today's announced £1 price rise) until probably October or November, when I may renew.

That's £35 I'll be able to use to put and to allay BT's other announced price increases for phone and broadband. It was worth the 11 minute phone call.

Do you have Sky Sports and if you do have you called them to do the same , that would be £24.50 x 7, £171.50 saved...actually just checked it's £27.50 saved per month so add another £21 to it, £192.50 saved

I do have the full Sky package including Sports, but as I'm paying half price until next year, cancelling anything will mean I lose my discount, so I'd finish up paying more for less.

And I want to keep F1.

My BT Sports channels are free via the Basic BT TV package .
But once broadband contract is up i will be looking at alternative paid sources for sport .

May I ask Why? As I too get BT Sport (HD) for free and SS 1&2 (HD) for only £27 per month, so it seems to be the cheapest option.

By paid sources i meant the whole package line rental broadband .Plus whatever package to deliver the sports content .
Sport as i only want Rugby Union matches its going to be a question of who is providing what .
At the moment its thoughts in advance and possible what could be termed the non legitimate route .
But probably BT as i have a BT recorder box and bt sport can be used at two different addresses.

Line Rental + Calls fees + Broadband + required TV services .
