Sky TV deal

Hi there,
I have noticed the great deal on today's Money Tips email (ALL Sky TV £30/mth).
I can see that it is only for new customers (not a customer for 12 months or more), however, I am wondering if there's a way around this?
Specifically, I have not been a customer for well in excess of 12 months but my girlfriend has (our 12 month deal has just finished and we gave the required notice period.) So, as a household, we do not fulfil the criteria but i'm wondering if we could get around this by trying in my name?
I appreciate this is not the most moral approach to take, but it's moneysaving!
Any advice would be very welcome
Kind regards

I doubt it as they will be able to check on the property.
Get your girlfriend to work for Sky, all employees get a free full Sky TV package, new HD box.
My son has recently started working for Sky and this saves me about £90, all I'll need to pay is for 2 multi-room subscriptions but even that is at a reduced rate.
Can also get Sky broadband and Sky Talk free, not Fibre unfortunately so signed up to BT for another 12 months today
BTW - Sky hate Martin Lewis!as he keeps costing them :money:

I've been lucky enough to get a code for this deal too :T
I have a question, I can't find an answer in the offer terms and conditions.
We know that sky's prices are increasing in June, what will the monthly cost be from June onwards if I were to take this over?
Can anyone help?0 -

Well the page linked to from the email says:Sky has told us it won't be increasing the cost of the TV package during your 12mth contract.) it says:
Prices may go up during your contract.0 -

I'm not sure, but think you also have an exemption for the first 60 days of being a new customer, but not if you just renewed.0 -
I'd imagine Martin has this covered, the statement about no price rises is pretty clear so would expect Martin to take this up with sky if they did attempt a price rise0

I really hope Martin does get on the case because I'm feeling like I've been duped! I too got the offer. Had it switched on yesterday then got an everything I need to know about my bill email today. It says price increase by £3.50 after June. New customers protected for 60 days. I called Sky to check if applies to myself and they told me it does. He told me he was sorry but there was nothing he could do. Grrrrrrrrr0

The price rise has been public knowledge for weeks now. However, if you only has it switched on yesterday (assuming as a new customer), just cancel.0
