Does anybody know how long each episode of Game of Thrones Season 6 will stay on NowTv? I basically want to know the minimum number of months I need to subscribe for to get the whole series.

The alternative is purchasing the season from Amazon Instant once it's finished, which will cost around £22 (this is what we did for Season 5).

  • It probably won't stay on catch-up for longer than 1 week for every episode so you will need to subscribe for 2 and a 1/2 months. If you have a discount code then it should be cheap enough.
I would watch the first ep live just to be certain it will be on catch-up.
  • I just logged into my Now TV account to check, and episode 1 of season 6 is available on catch up (it aired live at 2am this morning) and says it has 29 days left. So if you start a subscription just before that disappears you'd need (if I have calculated correctly) 6 weeks to be able to watch all the way to episode 10. However you can only subscribe for whole months, so would need 2 month's worth.

OK great, so if I start a two-month subscription around the 23rd May then I'll be able to see the whole series for around £14 (and maybe also watch a bit of Greys Anatomy while I'm at it...)

You could also cancel after the first month and see if they offer a half price deal which they usually do.

Most of the tv series episodes on catch up on Now TV stay on for 29 days after original air time. The older box sets can be watched for months sometimes.
If you are new to Now TV, they usually offer a free month trial, then they usually offer you a discount when you got to cancel when the free trial is nearly over. They also usually offer a discount if you go to cancel after any initial discount has been offered. I managed to get about 8 months worth of discount before they stopped offering anything - the last one was 3 months for about £4 a month. They also due longer term passes on their website (something like 6 months is cheaper per month etc.) so worth looking. The previous GOT series are on box set rather than catch up so will be there months I think.

If you click/select any on demand content, it will tell you on the first page you come to that its "Available Until [date]", which is usually listed in the top or bottom corners of the page.
