Some blu Ray players might have the app
A Roku box might have the app
Or the Amazon Fire stick has the app and you don't need to sign up to Amazon prime so just pay for Netflix will be the cheapest option.

If it has a free HDMI port then Amazon Fire stick.

If your a gamer then Xbox 360 or a PS3.

Cheapest will probably be to plug whatever you are using to post here in to your TV.

Or to use what was used to post on here.

    chromecast £30
  • Thanks all. Don't want to use the laptop because it's use around the house at various times. Was thinking more of a set top box, any feedback from anyone using those please?

Thats a whole different ball game. What features would you want in a box? HD? The ability to record? 1 or 2 channel capable, etc? And how much do you want to spend?

Doesn't a Chromecast need an android device to have Netflix streamed from ? I have a Chromecast and replaced it with an amazon fire stick a while back.
  • Thanks. Basic re the set top box. Don't need HD or ability to record. Just want to run Netflix through it.
