I've been with Sky tv 3 years now, I purchased the broadband around 6 months ago.
I'm paying £53.00 I get phone, broadband, Sky + he box, can only record one program at a time and allow to watch another, movies and just a normal to package no kids channels no music etc!
I was looking at getting kids, box sets and hopefully a new box with more storage and can hopefully record more than one program, I got a quote for £69.00 that was with a new Samsung tablet things. He said I can get it done to £52.00 but that's without the tablet, that's for 6 months then full price after that but he says I can ring up few weeks before the 6 months and get a better deal.
Now I think that's quite a good deal but can I get better?
I've told them I'm thinking of cancelling and going to check out some of the competition which I am.
What now do yous think that is a good enough deal?
Thank you

If you get locked into a new contract then you will have no negotiating power after 6 months no matter what the Sky rep says. Check out the haggling thread on here. A lot of people get 50% off for 12 months but you have to put in your cancellation notice.0

I pay far less with TalkTalk. I get movies on demand via an Amazon Fire Stick. I can also watch catch up on the TV via the stick negating the need to ever record any program. I do not have a TV aerial and also do not have a TV licence saving £13 per month.
I paid a year upfront for line rental and everything has been added for free. Unlimited calls and unlimited internet. I pay £5.50/month (£1.75/month after cashback from topcashback) for one mobile and get a further 2 SIM only plans for free.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.
