Hi,

HELP REQUIRED!!

I recently noticed on my bank statement that I had been charged nearly £40.00 for my months sky subscription formally £21.50. I'd added online half price multiroom for £5.62/month with free box and set up on 23rd November.

I phoned sky to ask why the over charge and they claim this offer never existed. I feel like I've taken leave of my senses as can't now find any record of this offer on the sky website. Although it is mentioned at this website from cable.co.uk. Even the email I received which I didn't read properly says £11.95/month with half price sky go extra (whatever that is!)

I can't believe I've made an error like this. The half price deal was the only reason I signed up and the only reason I would have ever signed up.

Did anybody else see this deal or take advantage of this? Please help!

Thanks

It was £5.63 on Black Friday up until the 30th November, but it doesn't say when the offer actually started. This is a cached page from 24th November so pretty close to when you ordered.

Call through and don't bother with the normal TV line choose the cancellations option which will take you through to retentions and they should be able to get it sorted for you.

Also, if you take up some offers, they invalidate any existing offers you have, as the system only allows one offer. However, you could have something like free broadband and half price line rental, but it would have been arranged as a package and not separate offers.

Not quite correct. You can only have 1 offer for each product. So 1 offer on tv subs, one offer on HD, one on broadband, one on line rental.....and so on.

When they say you can only have 1 offer they mean if you have 20% off your tv subscription you then can't add movies with a 1/2 price offer on top of that.

My mum has a % of TV, 1/2 price Multiscreen, and free broadband. All negotiated at different times.
