TUI online check-in?
Hi. Has anyone flown from the UK to the EU recently with TUI? I am wondering when (if at all) it is possible to check-in online (TUI flight - booked with TUI). There is conflicting information. A post on this forum (from back in 2020) says it is not possible until 24 hours before your flight. However the TUI website says…

Hi, We have been in correspondence with our holiday provider and they have agreed that the aspects of the holiday we have complained about can be compensated with a voucher to use with them by, first of all Feb 2025, and, after stating that this was not sufficient and that we would like cash back, they have replied with…

Why have air flight tickets doubled in price over the last 2 years?
In March 2022 I paid £320 for 2 return flights to Madeira including two 22kg luggage bags with Jet2, this year the cheapest I could buy was £642 almost double the price, it can’t be the cost of fuel because crude oil has been low in the range $73 to $80 for a long time since before Christmas and the £/$ exchange rate has…

Travel Insurance with a Twist
Hi. We are Australian citizens with a right to live and reside in the UK. We travel between Australia and Britain each year. We don't require travel insurance whilst in either country; we don't book return flights when we leave each country. What we want is travel insurance to cover our actual holidaying between each…

Santander 8.5% Markup in Spain
Santander charged me an 8.5% markup for exchanging pounds to euros, at a Santander ATM, in Spain on a Santander debit card (123 Lite Current Account). That was over £7 for 100 euros! I hadn’t realised this markup hike as the last time in Spain there was no markup.

TUI Cancellation Fee
In October 2023 I booked a Marella cruise for March 2025. I paid £300 deposit at the time of booking. Sadly due to change of personal circumstances I cancelled the holiday this week. TUI agent informed me that an administration/termination fee of £600 would be deducted from my refund. TUI T & C state that loss of deposit…

Travel insurance
We booked a cruise with friends last year departing early May this year. At the time they had annual travel insurance. It’s due for renewal on 21 February 2024. Hi All, Does anyone have any experience dealing with this company? Having called them this…

Is a visa required to enter the US?
I wanted to check if I need a visa or anything before flying to the US. I recall that UK citizens didn't need a visa to enter the US and it was granted on arrival. Has this changed? or did I imagine it? I'm flying via the US to Ecuador in a few days (I'm quite sure I don't need a visa for this as I'll be on transit), but I…
