Mobile phone….changing provider
My contract is with OneCom (a Vodaphone partner) and not Vodaphone directly. Does this cause any complications/issues using on line tools for this?

O2 to Tesco Mobile Porting Problems
Due to O2 price increases, I switched our 3 family iPhone to 2 year Tesco Mobile Clubcard 30GB SIM only deals on the 7th March. (£10/month including perk and no price annual increase). I had PAC Codes from O2 for all 3 phones. One port worked OK on the 8th March, but for the other 2 mobile numbers there were problems with…

UK Mobile without long-term/permanent roaming surcharges?
Anyone aware of a UK mobile provider with no "Permanent Roamer" (aka long term roamer) surcharges/limits? Ideally pay as you go, or monthly rolling, but long term contract would work too.

Changing networks
I'm a little confused about changing networks and keeping my phone number. I understand about getting a PAC from my old network and giving it to my new one. But do I get a SIM from the new network, activate it, and THEN give them the PAC? Or do I give them the PAC as part of the process of ordering a SIM from them (I do…

Plan.com - help with exit from contract please
Hello all I imagine that this provider has been covered a fair few times on here, so I'll not go into too much detail other than to say I took out a contract with them on the basis of being told that they could provide me with exactly what I was already getting but for less... I know I know, should have put the phone…

Cancelling unused sim card
I ordered a Lebara sim card then decided not to use it and go with Vodaphone. I can't find the same deal on here now (it was 90p for 6 months then £4.90) to double check if it was a monthly contract, and I had no email from them with any details. If I don't put this sim in the phone will that be enough for it to be…

Wifi calling on Lebara with Pixel phones
Can anyone do WiFi calling on Lebara (~= Vodafone) with a Google Pixel phone? I have a Pixel 6a, and it's not working, and I thought it was specific to that model. An agent just told me that no Google phones worked, but I wasn't convinced that he wasn't just taking the shortest route to get rid of me. It'd be useful to…

Opinions of Lycamobile
Hi, I'm looking for a cheap SIM only deal and have seen one via MSE for 5p a month for 6 months with Lycamobile. Ive seen that they use the O2 network but had a bad experience with o2 a number of years ago so wanted to know people's opinion on them and whether its worth changing to them for the deal? Any help and advice…

Top Deal Mobiles - Too Good to be True?
MSE's top deals seem too good to be true, for example a brand new Samsung Galaxy S24 is several hundred pounds cheaper than the major retailers/providers despite, apparently, like for like specifications. The cheapest retailers regularly feature Mozillion or The Big Phone. But these are not household names and I am…

Tesco mobile - voicemail doesn’t work
I recently changed to Tesco mobile and now I can’t use voicemail. If I try to access it or leave myself a message all I get is a series of beeps. Had endless online chats with their support. We’ve turned on voicemail; turned off voicemail; turned off the phone; turned on the phone, etc, etc. Finally got asked to wait 24…

PAYG data which doesn't expire
I'm looking for something that probably doesn't exist, but I'm hoping someone here will know. I do a lot of travelling and hiking around Scotland and Ireland, including areas where mobile coverage is patchy. My phone is currently on Vodafone, and supports dual SIMS (one physical, one eSIM). I would like an eSIM PAYG mobile…

Talkmobile destroyed my credit rating on switching - because I pay form my families phones!
I just transferred from Vodafone to TalkMobile - I explained I pay for all my family's phones. They said I could manage them from one account view just the same - but then added 5 new credit lines to my reported credit file overnight. My score dropped from excellent to fair - I complained and then said ' it's because we…

Roaming failure
I'll be in Europe for the next week, and have just tried calling back to the UK. This failed with a voice message saying that international calls are barred. I'm with 1pMobile, and I thought that roaming was free with their service. Has this changed recently? Or maybe there is a phone setting I need to change? I have a…

O2 issues - advice please
Hello, so this is what happened: 21/03/2024 – called customer services to terminate my
contract, as I was outside of the 24-month contract period and had a new phone
from elsewhere. I was told I would be billed for March (obviously) and for
April due to 30-day notice period. 03/06/2024 – noticed I had been billed for May…
