Vodafone changing contact

I am on a SIM only rolling monthly contract with Vodafone, which I've been on for donkeys years. Each year it goes up by inflation, which normally means a a about 30p or so.
I've got an email from them saying they're changing me to a contract that goes up by £1.80 per year. I put this down to an incompetent regulator who cannot count. The business just doing what businesses do.
But it says I'm also going down from having 51 European countries on the contract to four, but doesn't tell me which countries, and doesn't tell me how to find this information out.
Has anyone got any idea how to find out which four countries I can use my phone in?

I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

All our Pay monthly plans include Zone A which includes the Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Iceland and Norway.

Sounds like you need to obtain your PAC and move elsewhere.
Do not discount virtual operators (MVNO), they generally offer much better deals than the 3 main networks, and in some cases are 30 day rolling with no contract.
GiffGaff (O2 network) are a Which? recommended network, I prefer 1p Mobile (EE network), which includes Channel Islands and I of Man roaming (in addition to EU), with 14GB roaming per month… although contacting them seems tedious.
In any case switching networks is straightforward and is governed by OFCOM rules.

Bit premature without at least some idea of the deal that OP has been offered?Frozen_up_north said:Sounds like you need to obtain your PAC and move elsewhere.0 -
I am on Talkmobile which uses Vodaphone networkI get 60Gb data for £7.95 which appears to be fixed - it has not gone up in 3 years !!
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.3 -
£15.30pm for 20GB. I currently pay £15.17 for 11GB. I have 51 countries now, it changes to 4 (not that I go abroad)flaneurs_lobster said:

It's certainly making me look around. It seems Vodafone all increasing all their plans by £1.80, regardless of how cheap or expensive they are, rather than increasing each plan by a relative amount.Frozen_up_north said:Sounds like you need to obtain your PAC and move elsewhere.
But I've found a plan which is cheaper than my current on with better benefits - surely Vodafone realises these changes will cost them money?I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?1 -
There are enough people that won't change to make it still worth their while. But the fixed increases must be a good deal because Martin pushed for change - one bad year of high inflation now gives many years of pain with low inflation. Next year my BB will have a 12% increase, far higher than the majority of historical increases. At least we now know exactly how much we are being ripped off rather than having to work it out !surreysaver said:

Not when the increase is several times higher than it was previously! Seems Martin and the regulator didn't think it throughmolerat said:

I think the term is 'protectorate'.flaneurs_lobster said:https://www.vodafone.co.uk/mobile/global-roamingAll our Pay monthly plans include Zone A which includes the Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Iceland and Norway.

Yes, it's a 'Crown Dependency' so - in short - it has it's own parliament for domestic affairs (e.g. health, education, policing) while Westminster represents it for international affairs (e.g. defence).flaneurs_lobster said:https://www.vodafone.co.uk/mobile/global-roamingAll our Pay monthly plans include Zone A which includes the Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Iceland and Norway.
