Prepaid gas meter - top up before price rise?
Hi, This might be a stupid question, but if you top up a gas meter before a price rise will you actually get the saving? (I know you can't do this with the Electricity, as it gives you the £s and pence readings, but on the gas, its cubic meters. Thanks in advance.

Energy firm raising my monthly payments
Hi, Last year I switched my energy provider through MSE to Shell Energy on a fixed term rate of approx. £550 per year. The Monthly direct debit payments was approx. £45 per month. Shell have now raised my monthly payments to £60 per month. Are they allowed to do this bearing in mind it was a fixed term contract?

metric gas meter being billed as imperial
My gas meter is metric, but every time I change supplier they always bill reading as imperial, always takes months to persuade them, with hours of explanations, photos of meter, etc. etc. Is there a central meter register that can be amended? How can I ensure a new supplier knows meter is metric?
