Swapping Power Company With Current Bill In Credit

I am just in the process of swapping power companies.
In checking my bill with Utility Point I discovered I have Credit of £344.60.
There is no mention anywhere on the website on how to reclaim this money.
In fact, I can't find a phone number, email or address anywhere !
What happens to my credit when I swap companies ?
Does it get returned to my bank account or is it transferred to the new company ?
Or, as I cynically suspect - does it just disappear ?
My latest bill has just been paid so there is nothing left to deduct when I move.
Thank you.

You'll get more replies if you re-post in Energy and delete it from here (this is for LPG, Heating Oil, Solid and Other Fuels).

They don't just get to keep your credit! You are of course entitled to a refund.  Once your switch is complete then Utility Point must provide you with a final bill within 6 weeks.  They then must refund any credit balance within 10 days.  Recent reviews of UP suggest they are not great at refunding credit balances so it may need a bit of chasing.

Hmmmm.... head to utilitypoint.co.uk and I can see a phone number top right?  There's also a link at the top for Contact Us which gives the phone number again and an email?

Yes quite easily seen on their site? Member Support - Contact Utility Point's Award-Winning Team Today

And also quite easily seen this is the LPG, Heating Oil, Solid & Other Fuels forum?

Perhaps posting in the Energy forum in future would help? Click on big black Energy  button

Thanks for the helpful replies.  Didn't realise I was on the wrong forum.  (Didn't get notification of replies either.)
Utility Point have reduced my monthly bill to £10 until the credit is paid off.  I'm happy with that.

Why? If you are in the process of switching suppliers, you will get your Credit balance back in full. The question that I would asking myself is ‘ how did I manage to accrue such a large credit balance’? It is worth mentioning that a credit/debit balance is only accurate provided it is based on an ACTUAL meter reading and then only on the day that the reading was taken. Often people find when they switch suppliers that their credit balance disappears when they are re-billed against a closing reading.
