Octopus tariff renew: when coming into effect?
My Octopus tariff is coming to an end in August. I have got email renewal invitation and wish to renew into another fixed tariff. My question is: if I renew now, does the new tariff come into force immediately or when my current tariff ends? I would like to keep my current (cheaper) tariff as long as possible apparently.

Green Energy Advice Bureau - Threatening Letter
I have received several threatening phone calls and now a letter stating that I own them over £9k for a contract that did not go live in 2021! Octopus Smart Meter fitting IHD or Mini Hub
I have booked a smart meter fitting with Octopus - in the blurb it says that I will have a choice of an IHD or an Octopus mini hub (payable). I would prefer the mini hub, but does this mean that if I ever move away from Octopus I will have no IHD and the mini hub won't work?

Related electric meter unable to switch online - how to fix?
I'm trying to help someone sort out their energy bill, and the TLDR version is that when putting their details into a comparison site, it says "you have a related electrical meter we are unable to switch your electricity supplier".
