FUSE - Be Careful when Switching

Hi all,

I switched my mother's supply to FUSE in March and it went smoothly. At the time I was not made aware FUSE automatically use the registered mobile number (in this case mine) as the account number. The implication is that the mobile number becomes a unique account number.

I switched to FUSE in July, using my personal details and the same mobile. This has resulted in two properties being logged under one account. The issue is that both property bills are managed under my mother's bank account and a single DD has been set up to bill my mother for her own and my consumption. (I know at this stage some of you are thinking lucky me!). Obviously this is not ideal. I have approached FUSE via the chat service and they are going to address this by forcing their system to accept my mothers landline number and create two separate accounts. Thought I'd share this just in case anyone else in the forum is experiencing the same thing. (FYI, the initial respoinse I got was "no can do", with a little persuasion I got put through to a supervisor…etc)
