Problem submitting meter readings to BG

When I submit my readings the gas reading immediately is updated and shown. But the two electricity readings (economy 7) are not updated. And eventually two estimated readings are added. Currently my electricity usage is about 2000 units more than shown since my last reading in June. And that was estimated as well. As I have two heated greenhouses my usage is Certainly more than an average user. But the estimated amounts are obviously nearer to what it assumes I use! With other energy companies I have used updating my meter readings were always accepted and straightforward. Why is BG so awkward!

I would say from the June reading. As that only took the gas reading as well. Though in the past I have tended to only add a meter reading when they request it every three months. As it did seem in the past that was the only time it reliably was shown. But that’s not the case either now!

There was someone else with similar problem recently. I'd suggest that you follow BG's complaints process and get your readings corrected.
