E.on NextDrive and SEG with EV Solar charging

I have solar panels with an eddi diverter and a zappi charger.

As retired, use solar to heat hot water and to give 20miles EV each day allowing an afternoon trip.

Comparing two options on E.on in table below using last four years solar and power data, the Next secure option gives a 60% increase and Next Drive 67% increase.

Does anyone know how much the Next Flex Export is likely to vary?

The Next Drive should be better with off-peak EV charge, but with variable SEG as well, is this a miss.

    Welcome to the forum!

Next Drive Smart requires that your car and/or wallbox are from a relatively short list of manufacturers. Does yours qualify? If not, that makes the decision for you.

Next Drive Smart is also best for people who can move most of their electricity use into the 8p/kWh cheap rate period. Does that sound like you?

If not, the Secure fix is likely to be the better option of the two on offer.

You might like to look at switching supplier as an option, too. Use one of the comparison sites (eg. MSE's own Cheap Energy Club) to see what tariffs are available elsewhere.

Another option would be to switch your SEG provider. Fuse are currently paying 13p per kWh although this rate is not fixed for any period of time so it could be changed.
