changing energy tariff with current supplier
I have been a B.Gas customer for several years and switched tariff many times with no penalty, BG perk. Does anybody know if other big name suppliers offer the same flexibility or are you bound by their fixed tariff until it expires? EON next, EDF, Octopus.

Octopus have traditionally been fairly relaxed about tariff swapping. However, with the current turmoil in the market that may not always be the case. They also have time limits before you can rejoin some of their dynamic ToU tariffs.

Eon Next are the only supplier from O/P listing who allow change of tariff more often than not with no exit fees most notable exception being 24 month fixes.
When Octopus have charged exit fees on Standard fixed tariffs has always charged exit fees for change of tariff.
