Sky broadband increase - maybe switch to Vodafone?
So…now I'm out of contract Sky want to increase my monthly payment from £30 to £59. Hmmm, don't think so. Email gave number to ring to cancel and give 10 days notice, so I did, to see what they offer. I'm on Sky Broadband Ultrafast Plus and best they could do was their Full Fibre 500 at £36; this is basically the same…

Minor Increase
I was dreading the conversation I needed to have with Virgin Media regarding my contract about to end. They had advised cost of Broadband and TV package would double! Ten minutes on a web chat and they offered same package for +£2. No haggling, just a really useful rep who helped. Fair play to VM, they were very reasonable.

New/existing customers
I thought that offering new customers cheaper deals than existing customers was outlawed? I've just texted PAC to 65075 and almost immediately got a call from EE loyalty dept. I'm out of contract on the 15th, but seemingly they've got better prices, but for new customers. BT have got a £175 reward card, but because i'm…

Switch to Community Fibre and use Premitel for voip?
Hi, I want to maintain a landline just for incoming calls from elderlies (no outgoing.) This being so it's not worth paying for the Community Fibre calls-included voip package, and I wonder if it's possible to use an independent voip provider with Community Fibre, either by using the CF router, or another router? Thank you.

Switching Broadband: Avoid Early Termination Fee of £239
Situation: For various reasons, I wish to move from Onestream to another supplier. My 2 year contract ends on 27th March 2026. What is the best approach? a) Do a switch now (03/03/26) with an activation after 27/03/26? Onestream say I will incur the fee as I'm still under contract. b) Let the contract expire. On 28/03/26…

EE price increase (Again)
EE have just announced (after only recently putting my BB up £2 a month) that they are increasing my BB by £4 a month at the end of March which will make it over £32! Of course they did this after locking me in to a 24 month contract on the understanding of reasonable prices. I knew they were trying to sweeten me up when I…

Porting a VoIP phone number
I have FTTH from Hyperoptic and also have my phone number from them, which is of course a VoIP number. I would like to port my number away from Hyperoptic to Andrews & Arnold, because they are cheap and now satisfy my needs better than Hyperoptic. Hyperoptic have confirmed that there would be no termination fees applied…

MSE and Virgin Media
I just signed up to Virgin Media using an offer from MSE - this gave me a great rate and I'm really pleased. I'm less pleased by the fact that although the MSE advert for MSE states that This equivalent monthly cost adds in... ‐ The current £19.99/mth price ‐ A price rise to £23.99/mth on 1 Apr 2027 It does not show that…

Vodafone Broadband Price Differs on Their Website Compared to This Site and Other Comparison Tools
It’s broadband renewal time again. Using the comparison tool on this site – as well as a few other reputable ones – Vodafone’s 150 Mb package looks ideal for me. It’s in my price range and includes a voucher, which makes it even more appealing. Across all these comparison sites, the deal is shown as a two‑year contract at…
