Short term broadband deal - moving house
I am currently with TT mainly because there is little choice in the rural area I live, however, I am selling my house and my TT contract expires in June. I will be moving to a major town so won't have a problem with signal/choice etc but my question is how do I bridge the gap between my contract ending and continuing to have broadband until my house sale. Any advice welcome

Unless you've cancelled it already it will continue as a monthly rolling contract. Admittedly it'll be at whatever the full price is but given the costs of buying and selling 2 houses it's not even a drop in the ocean.

I am guessing TT will want me to tie into a 24 month contract, maybe, I don't know as I haven't contacted them but their service is appalling but there is no choice - I will think about contacting them and asking them what is on offer - they usually offer me a good deal but that is based on staying with them!

100% they'll tie you in to a 24 month contract if you agree to anything, I would honestly let it lie and concentrate on the house move.

Does your TT account not show you what you will pay after the contract ends ?
My Plusnet contract shows the monthly amount afterwards - in my case ~ £20pm more - but as said previously , a few months out of contract cost won't even equal what the solicitors will charge for their coffee break !!

TT will roll over onto a 1 month notice required contract. Rate may be shown. You will need to give them the required notice to cancel they won't just withdraw the service. Do not just agree to a renewal and tie yourself into a new term unless it suits your needs. In your online account TT have a 'move home' option that might be worth investigating (TT Community forum may be worth a look-see?).
"You’re moving house – so we’ll pack our bags and come with you. We’ll have you set up at your new place before you’ve even unpacked your toothbrush."Alternatively, IF you have a really good mobile signal where you are and at the new home location from the same provider then you could use a mobile data service and modem-router?

I'll have a look, thank you

Terrible signal here and no other provider can offer any different but I don't plan to stay with TT after I move as there are much better packages available - I have been with TT many years as they have always offered a good deal but I'll have more choice when I move

Can't see anything that tells me what I will pay after June - just says offers and packages 24 months - I'll contact them next month and see what they say
