Do you use Fuse Energy? What do think? How is the customer service? The App? Billing? Please let me hear your reviews. I've read the previous threads, Trust pilot etc. I'd like to hear from current or previous users. I'd also like to hear the same about Outfox the Market? Can I be forced to have a smart meter?
Hi, I'm new here so please forgive any faux pas... but here goes. We have solar panels on the roof, which don't make us a huge amount of money; but they make us more than they would otherwise because we have an old analog meter which actually rolls backwards while the panels are generating juice. Obviously we'd like to…

Reduction to existing fix rates from April - will there be a cut off date for signing up?
I asked this in another thread, but maybe it needs a space of its own. My fix rate tariff ends in early April. I’m aware of the “£150 reduction” coming up from 1st April and I know that the energy companies are (mostly) planing to apply this reduction to their existing fixed rate customers too by reducing the fix that they…

How quickly do Big Energy Switch options run out?
Evening all, I'm currently with Octopus on their Money Saving Octopus promo tariff. The tariff does have a £25 exit fee per fuel, however the new British Gas tariff is about £120 cheaper per year compared to Octopus (shocking to me, but I assume Octopus are no longer the great deal they used to be in the past) A couple of…

Energy club cashback
Has anyone else had difficulty getting the promised cashback after switching through the energy club? I switched 14 months ago and I'm still waiting. I checked the energy club today to look at the latest deals and see the savings include the cashback. I've contacted the energy club and the response is that they have not…

What energy tariff should I be considering for a Phev?
Currently on Octopus Loyal 16M Fixed at 24.5p and 66p standing Lec, and 6.62 and 29.3p standing Gas. We have a Phev. It's only 14kWh, but it would be nice to have it regularly topped up at a cheap rate overnight from a standard socket at 2.4kW. No interest in adding the more powerful charger (3.7kW?) as that would require…

Collective deals missing
I am checking my Cheap Energy Club recommendations as my fixed contract is about to end but I don't see the collective deals for BG and Fuse. I see other deals from these two providers further down the list but not the collective deals referred to in the MSE newsletter. Do others see these deals or are we supposed to do…

Plans to change what households make from solar Feed-in Tariffs 'feels a breach of pro
If you're one of the 800,000+ households in England, Wales or Scotland being paid to generate your own electricity via renewable technology under the Feed-In Tariff scheme, you could earn less in the long run under new Government plans. Martin Lewis: Plans to change what households make from solar Feed-in Tariffs 'feels a…

I have dreams for Panels on the (detached) garage roof - with a battery in the garage and a charge point on the side of the garage for an EV …….the garage runs N-S. With a connection back to the house - to allow use directly from the panels as well as the battery (at night and dull days). Our electricity consumption is low…

Octopus Go Intelligent Tariff - recent changes
Can anyone understand the recent changes? I've watched several YouTube videos and they all have a different interpretation of the new and highly complicated rules. It's very hard to make heads or tails. To make matters worse, a friend who's already with Octopus (I'm still considering, having now bought an EV) told me about…
