HSBC fixed rate 13 month ISA 4.5% - questions
I've seen other threads on here about issues with HSBC transfer delays, also i'm cutting it really tight for cashback as cut off is 11 May. If i was to complete the request form and HSBC receive it before the 11th then for purposes of cashback would this count, or i.e does it only count the date the transfer is complete or…

New ISA rules encourage gambling rather than sensible saving
How can Rachel Reeves think its sensible to incentivise ordinary savers to play the stock market? The new ISA rules which limit £12000 into a safe Cash ISA and by default push individuals into investing £8000 into a stocks and shares ISA are irresponsible. Its not enough to say investing in stock market over 10 years on…

Have any of you guys opened the above in a way that has enabled you to claim the cashback. The T&C state that it has to be new money and cannot be money transferred from a HSBC current account or savings produce or First Direct too. I have both those bank accounts and no other. Can I transfer ISA into existing one?
I've already paid £1500 into my new ISA this tax year. I have a 1 yr fixed rate ISA with another provider that matures on 1st June with over £20k in it. Can I transfer the maturing ISA into the one I've just opened and already paid into?

Santander Fixed ISA eVoucher offer
It looks like there are a few here who are familiar with the current deal. I have a hypothetical question about it. I know Santander run these kinds of offers regularly. Does anyone know roughly how long they run before they're pulled? Perhaps all of April for example, to entice a large ISA instake? Or perhaps just a…

Newbie looking at ISA stocks and Shares
I'm one of the many people who will be affected by the changes of ISA savings amounts for saving in April 2027. I therefore thought I would invest £500 this year as a trial run. I have put the rest into a Trading 212 cash ISA this April 2026. I have never invested in Stocks and Shares so am not sure where to start. I did…

Santander Fixed ISA
Hi, I wasn't planning to go with a fixed but I have emergency funds and worst case, I withdraw it and lose £300 in fees. Interest rate is 4.5% and a £50 Amazon voucher. I have some questions though - Is it completely online? As in I can set it up online and fund it from another bank account online? Although the interest is…

Plum App - Create Account
I've been attempting to create an account for a Plum ISA using the App for about three days. The first step is to enter your mobile number and enter a verification code sent via SMS which never arrives. The help suggests the usual things regarding mobile reception and entering the mobile number without leading zero. The…

ISA transfer experiences
My most recent experiences. First the bad and the ugly: * Monument to Santander. The request had to be made on paper, which I handed in to a friendly Santander employee in Branch. 6 weeks later, there had been nil progress as the form apparently "didn't reach the right department" (in Santander). This means I missed out on…

Coventry BS Centrepoint Fixed ISA maturing 31.05.2026 - options
I haven't had an email from Coventry yet, but noticed on my account page that there is now an 'maturity instructions' link which shows what their offers will be for maturing ISAs at the end of this month. Not the most competitive: Option A - Fixed ISA (327) 31.08.2027 4.20% Tax free^ p.a./AER* (Fixed until 31.08.2027)…

Hi have funds in a Vanguard stocks shares Isa and likely need access to it all next year for house deposit, so cant afford to see it suddenly fall. transferring a Trading 212 cash ISA to another provider in the 2026/2027 tax year
does anyone know of a provider which will accept a transfer in from a Trading 212 cash ISA? I tried 2 of the providers recommended in the MSN website; both have lists of the ISAs that they'll accept, but neither of them include Trading 212 in their lists.

Flexible Cash ISAs
If someone transferred a previous years Stocks and Shares ISA of a large value (way over the £20k annual limit) to a cash ISA that offers 'flexibility', once the transfer has arrived into the cash ISA, can they then withdraw the full amount and replace it back into the cash ISA as long as it is in the same tax year? Thanks…

Plum - App Issues
Tried to open a Plum Cash ISA, on the app. Took me through the account setup, and eventually got to the ID & Address verification screen. Both boxes were marked as Verified (I had not sent photos of any documents at this point), and I could not continue. My only option was to press the X at the top of the screen, which…

Transferring cash ISA from the PO to HSBC
I can't use the HSBC transfer-in form because it's demanding a 12 digit roll number and the Post Office only have 10 character, alphanumeric roll numbers. Each is blaming the other for the issue. This is despite the PO being listed as one of the institutions for which HSBC's online form is applicable. There's clearly…

Monument Blocking ISA Transfer Out – Misallocating Interest and Giving Incorrect Advice?
Help Monument Bank are blocking / rejecting my ISA transfer out (from previous years’ funds). I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced anything similar - and also help anyone who may have been given the wrong advice. Is this an IT system error, or are customer service being given incorrect guidance? In mid-April…
