Transferring ISA form CHIP tp VIDA

Just tried to transfer an ISA from Chip to VIDA but ViDA does not accept even though it allowed me to choose Chip as my current provider from the dropdown.

It did not tell me how to go forward with this. Has anyone else had problems like this?

Are there any providers who accept Chip without any issues?

I did Chip to Vida about 6 months ago without any issue.

Also more recently i've done Chip to Moneybox, again without issue.

I had exactly the same issue trying to open a Vida ISA today. Allowed me to select Chip to transfer into Vida then refused. I phoned Vida, they said they now didn’t agree with Chip and there was nothing I could do. Complete waste of time filling in 7 pages of forms up to this refusal.

Went onto Vanquis, exactly the same application forms appeared …. but allowed me to set up a Chip transfer in! Martin needs to mention this in his weekly email/website.

Reading carefully through the small print on the other ISA recommended websites I found discrepancies between what Martin wrote about withdrawals and their small print. This is the first time I’ve felt “let down” by the Money Saving Expert information.
