Plum ISA transfer - account frozen despite completion
I have requested an ISA transfer from Plum to Monument a while ago. Yesterday they sent me a message stating that this has now been completed and that the funds are now with Monument. However the funds still show up on Plum and the account has been frozen. Monument have said that they initiated the transfer but that they…

Cash ISA's and savings account
I/we have £80000 to invest. The plan is to open a Cash ISA each and put the balance into a savings account. Each year after that we would open two new Cash ISA's and put the interest saved into the savings account. Is this possible and are there possible pitfalls? This is how we are hoping to stretch our retirement fund!

Calculating cash ISA transfer delay and where to pay compensation
I've had a delayed cash ISA transfer occur for a rather large amount. The transfer was delayed at the stage where the old manager sends the funds (step 2 in TISA process table). However the delay principally appears to be caused by the new manager ignoring a 'Ready to Send funds' message from old provider. Looking at the…

Trading 212 cash isa transfer - is this normal
My partner transferred their ISA and they were 343 in the queue, then about a week later around 100 then a few days later done. i have done the same and its been stuck at 130 for 2 weeks. No budging. Appreciate it may just be me, but it seems odd they have bigger queues before and were able to work through them and now for…

Maturing ISA
Hi. I have a 1 year Fixed ISA with Shawbrook which matures on the 4th July. There exisitng rates are quite poor, so i am thinking of moving to a different provider. I also noticed that Nat West are doing a 1 year fixed at 4.3%, which would be far better than Shawbrooks offering. I s it possible to open the Nat West ISA,…

I'm looking to transfer my Chip cash ISA to trading212 as they offer a much higher interest rate. Opened my trading212 account (blagged via the MSE link) and verified ID. Now all I need to do is start the transfer. Was wondering if anyone has done this transfer recently? If yes, how long did it take? I chatted with…

(New) CMC Invest - Flexible Cash ISA - 4.85% (allows transfers)
Good morning, Forgive me but this appears new and has started just this morning appearing in my targeted ads. CMC Invest appear to have boosted their Flexible (+ allowing transfers) Cash ISA to 4.85%. This appears to have been a previous rate, but I'm not clear if it was cut and then has now boosted back up. Perhaps…

Trading 212 Cash ISA - Impossible to transfer ISA out!
A WORD OF WARNING! T212 makes it easy to accept a transfer in. But Transfers out are almost impossible. Every ISA provider demands an account number, sort code and (optionally) a reference number to accept an ISA transfer in. T212 doesn't give you a sort code or proper account number. Their 'account number' is just…

ISA transfer times - post your experience
Hi all, Imho, the Cash ISAs - The best currently available thread keeps getting a bit cluttered with discussions on transfer experiences. It's a good topic so was thinking we could have a dedicated thread for this (apologies if there's already a thread on this lurking somewhere). My current experience is below. Edit: For…

Trading 212 cash ISA Allowance
Looking at my Trading 212 cash ISA, I am surprised that it says that my remaining current tax year ISA allowance is £25,000. I thought the amount was only £20,000. Is this an error on their part, or is one allowed to pay in to the previous year's ISA as well? That might make sense, since earlier today it showed the…

Help to buy ISA restrictions
I’m in the process of buying my first home and was hoping my help to buy ISA bonus would help cover fees or deposit. However I realised the house I’m buying is over the £250k limit outside of London and I think it’s too late to transfer my funds into a Lifetime ISA. I was meant to sort that out last year but life got in…
