APS ISA Help
Hi, My dad died earlier this year and I was tasked with sorting out his finances on behalf of mum - it's been a horrendous job as he had paperwork going back god knows how long to accounts that didn't exist so it's been...interesting, working out what is still current! It's taken me ages to get my head around the APS…

Trading 212 - what do we think?
Hi all, New to the forum so please be gentle with me. I want to invest in a cash ISA (haven't used my allowance up for 24-25 yet) and I am seriously considering Trading 212. I've used Shawbrook Bank and Charter Savings Bank in the past and had good experiences with them so I'm not new to online accounts. I know Trading 212…

Moneybox ISA rates
I opened a Moneybox Open Access Cash ISA a couple of months ago with an intro offer of 4% base rate with 0.82% bonus for a year. since then the base rate dropped to 3.75%, which is what still shows on my account. However looking at the current offer Moneybox seems to have a base rate of 3.95% with a 0.7% bonus, giving a…

Accidentally transferred money into junior ISA
I’ve accidentally transferred an my universal credit payment into my son’s junior isa, which only had £64 in (he’s 10). The bank (nationwide) have said they can’t give it back as it now belongs to the child but it was a genuine mistake. I was trying to move it to my savings account but I clicked the isa instead. Is there…

Clarity over Cash ISA
I deposited 20k in a cash ISA last year and made approx. 1k interest. I noticed that when I login to my account it states I have another 20k "remaining" to invest. I assume this is because of the new tax year. If I deposited it another 20k this tax year will the interest on the 41k be tax free?

Moneybox Cash ISA - client money account - ??
Any advice? Opened a Cash ISA with Moneybox - I'm a new Moneybox customer. Astonishingly, took 3 days to transfer in! (I didn't know it was even possible to transfer that quickly!) Then I asked (as per the MSE pop up box) about the 'client money account' to ensure I understood where my funds were so I could manage the FSCS…

ISAs - Leave in Cash? Or move to S&S?
My partner and I each have around £80k in cash ISAs. We also have around £200k each in savings accounts. We don’t pay tax on our interest as neither of us are working. So we are looking for a way to take a small income (£2k a month maybe) from our savings, but also put some money into investments for the longer term. We…

Moneybox LISA
Can anyone advise what the trick is to find the right place on Moneybox's app to create a LISA. I am already feeling like I would be walking into a zero support agreement with them as they don't have manged support and it should never feel like the crystal maze to do business with a bank.

Monument Flexible - not treating flexible money correctly
I’m about to transfer out of Monument where I have an easy access flexible ISA. I withdrew a small amount of money in May, and today have put this back into the account. However they are showing this as new money, rather than the replacement funds from earlier years . Ive contacted them to query this today, but I wondered…

HL Active Savings ISA - Transfers?
Hi, How do ISA transfers work with HL's Active Savings, both transfers between HL and unrelated banks, and also transfers between banks but all with Active Savings? Can you even do those "internal" transfers? I was surprised to see that some of their options accept transfers (Castle Bank) but some don't.
