AJ Bell ISA dealing fees

Given that they charge £1.50 per deal and I’m investing cash monthly,  is it more beneficial to swallow the fee and buy monthly,  £200 to a single fund  (will be £350 from April)   or buy every 3/6 months to save fees?
I’m guessing that time in the market is more important than saving £1.50 a month?

There are other providers that don’t charge a dealing fee for regular monthly direct debits, e.g. ii.  IWeb will be offering this once the migration to Scottish Widows completes.  There will be no ISA fees either.

Iweb looks like a likely candidate then,  so the only charges would be the fund fee?   That’s pretty damn good.

Aj Bell are unusual in charging for putting money into QEIC funds.
Normally this is free and there are only charges for buying market quoted investments.

AJ Bell Dodl is completely free other than a monthly charge of £1 upwards (depending on account balance). You can buy/sell as many trades as you like FOC other than the monthly charge.
The choice of investments is a bit limited, but def worth a look.

The main AJ Bell platform is not economical for investing small amounts regularly unless you use their own funds with no dealing fee but then they are not otherwise particularly attractive investments.

AJ Bell are better value on larger accounts such as capped fee LISAs and SIPPs using exchange traded assets.

I'm a happy AJ Bell and iWeb customer - they are suited to different purposes.
