Tembo ISA transfer in delays
Hi I took out and maxed out a Tembo ISA in April, I want to transfer my Coventry BS ISA to Tembo, but it's over 2 months now and there's still a pause on the transfer in - very frustrating given the difference in interest rates 4.8% as opposed to 3.3%. I keep asking and get profuse apologies with no indication of when I…

Having Difficulty withdrawing money from Virgin “easy access” f flex isa
Can anybody tell me why Virgin’s systems keep telling me I’m over my payment limit and refusing to make a transaction? My total taxable earning for this year is only going to be about 15k so I figured I could move the £25k emergency fund out of the easy access isa into a newly opened Chase account with the bonus saver rate…

Getting started with investing: S&S ISA?
I have a lot of cash savings (mostly cash ISAs) earning an average of 4.9% and am wondering about investing some of them for a better return, while still keeping a few years of expenses in cash. I've already put a decent amount this year into my SIPP but am reluctant to put all my eggs in that basket as I won't be able to…

Bed and ISA of corporate shares
Hi all, my company awards us some of our bonus every year in shares which then vest 3 years later. This is alongside a cash bonus which we pay tax on immediately in our paycheck. How to pay US/UK tax after selling my US shares
Hi I have a stocks and shares isa with a couple of holdings in US shares. I enrolled in the W8BEN and renewed it when necessary. I've recently sold one of my holdings. I'm fairly certain i will not need to pay UK tax on this income as it is in an ISA, but likely will owe the US 15% of the sale value. Anyone able to confirm…

ISA Losses and Double taxation rules
Hello everyone. I have a couple of questions regarding ISAs. As they are an efficient way of invest/save tax free, you dont have to declare them/pay tax on the capital/shares located in an ISA. But, what happens in the cases stated below? -Case 1: Having shares that pay you dividends in an ISA, and those dividedns are paid…
