Chip ISA transfer out and reopen next tax year

Chip has always said you can never have another ISA with them once you have transferred out, which has always put me off moving from them, but I finally went for it last week in order to move it to the 4.55% HL easy access ISA. I've just had an email from them and it says:
"Once the transfer out has been successfully processed, Chip will close your Cash ISA and you will be unable to open another one with Chip in the same tax year" (my bold!)
Just wanted to share that as it seems a slight shift from previously. Of course I doubt they'd treat returners as new customers unless you asked for the whole user account to be deleted (which I have seen some posts about on here) so probably pointless ever going back, but at least the door is open after April...
