Santander Stocks & Shares ISA opening £75 offer via Topcashback

Hello, 

I applied for a new Santander S&S ISA via TCB on 20th October 25, I got a ‘sorry for the delay we are performing checks to set up your investment hub message’. Also got an email the same day from Santander thanking me for joining the investment hub.

On 22nd October my investment hub appeared in my Santander app and I set up a Stocks and Shsres ISA with a monthly direct debit. I thought I had chosen a fund to invest in…..but the money has arrived in my ISA but not invested.

is this normal for a monthly DD investment into an ISA with Santander ? Do I have to select a fund everytime my direct debit pays in ?

Also the offer was withdrawn quite quickly on TCB and it didn’t track for me, I have raised a claim for missing cash back with TCB.  Anyone else had similar experiences? Did your cash back track and did your regular DD instantly buy a fund or you had to select manually once the cash was in your ISA?

*** update I have now found that my purchase of a fund is pending so assume I was successful selecting a fund to invest in …..hopefully once the fund purchase has completed hopefully cash back will track in TCB

I also applied for a Santander S&S ISA via TCB and got an email about extra checks. It appeared in my Santander online banking and the app after a few days.

I didn't elect for direct debits but instead made a payment using a debit card. I then had to manually select an investment.

Mine didn't track so after 7 working days I submitted a claim for missing cashback. No response to that yet.

My £75 tracked quickly after accepting the offer and putting in £100 into a low risk Money Market Fund. Shortly after the £75 was confirmed payable by TCB, I converted that into a Tesco gift card (with some extra cashback) and into my "wallet" on my phone. I am now enjoying some Tesco finest wine 25% off if buy 3 bottles!
