Transfering EQi sharesave to a S&S ISA?
I've got a works sharesave scheme due to mature soon. I'd like to transfer them to a flexible S&S ISA and then sell the shares in order to receive the money. My understanding is that I need to select the 'keep the shares and receive a share certificate' as the option once they mature. However, what S&S ISA providers…

Best Junior Stocks and Shares ISA 2025?
I’m looking to open a Junior Investment ISA using funds from an existing Child Trust Fund (CTF). I’m relatively new to this area, but I want to make sure my child has the best possible start in life. My child will be turning 18 in around 4–5 years. I’m not a financial expert, so ideally, I’m looking for a simple, “set and…

interactive invester ISA and trading advice
I recently opened a Cash ISA (currently funding it up to £10,000) and I am also considering a stock and shares ISA. Half this years allowance would be in the cash ISA and half in the Stocks and Shares ISA. I would then do the same in April 2025. A relative has opened a interactive investor account and has been investing in…

Trading 212 not accepting money in?
On the sound advice to use my ISA allowance before the budget I opened an account this morning with Trading 212. Great but it will not allow me to pay money in to get the account up and running. I got stuck in a never ending loop after adding my bank account details and went round and around 7 time before I dumped it. Is…

Should I use Equiniti to sell shares?
I have a few low value stock holdings (EX Building Society
conversions to PLC status) on the Equiniti.com platform that I plan to sell off. Their fees appear very high. E.G. They are quoting a fee of £40
for one holding with a market value of £480. Is that reasonable?

Caution - Investec Fixed Term Cash ISA
I started to apply for a 1 year fixed cash ISA, after it came up as one of the top rates in the weekly newsletter. During the online application it asked for a linked current account and stated all funds in and out of the ISA would have to use this linked account. That made me question how transfer request to another ISA…

Cash ISA Transfer (T212 to Chip)
I initiated an ISA transfer from T212 yesterday and the balance immediately disappeared from my T212 account. It hasn’t yet been credited to my Chip account, which is understand is normal. However, do I still earn interest whilst the transfer is in process? If so, is it paid at the T212 rate of interest or the Chip rate?

Good growth in stocks and shares ISA - trying to "crystallise" the growth
I've got a Trading 212 stocks and shares ISA that's grown about 17% since May. I realise after a response I got on here to a post ages ago that if I take the £5K approx growth out and put it in the building society I'm not really preserving that £5K as the remainder of my ISA could drop in value and I'd only really be…

why has my Wife's tax code dropped?
My Wife has recently retired and is living purely from savings and a small, old work pension. That pays her just over 2k a year. Her savings interest is about £1100 ...well within her savings allowance, she is currently a non tax payer. However, about to go into SIPP drawdown we checked her current taxcode and were shocked…

Cash ISA Renewal
My cash ISA is up for renewal after 18 months. I am advised by the bank the ISA will be renewed at a rate of 1.1% which I consider to be extremely low in the current financial climate.
