First Time S&S ISA advice
After building up a good amount of savings in cash ISAs and regular savings, I’m intending to start dipping my toe into investing with a S&S ISA. I’m pretty sure I know what I need to, but think a bit of a sanity check from people more knowledgeable than myself wouldn’t hurt. I’m aware that I should be looking to invest…

I have a 1 year cash ISA that matures in June 2025 My question and I apologies if it sounds naive, can I top my current 1 year cash ISA with part or all my new £20,000 tax year allowance and still have tax free savings in my 1 year cash ISA? Transferring an NS&I ISA
I have an old NS&I cash ISA, which I want to transfer into my new Kent Reliance ISA. KR acknowledged the transfer request, which was over a month ago now. I've just had another letter from KR, saying that they still have not received a response from NS&I. They say they will continue to persevere until they complete the…

If Cash ISAs are ended by Government.
As an example, if I am not working or eligible for state pension yet, and earning £5k per annum from private pensions, could I transfer the money from my cash ISAs into a standard interest rate account, and earn £13,570 per annum without paying any tax? From what I have read I believe this is the case.

What year is an ISA opened for tax purposes?
I have used my full ISA allowance for 2024/25 and want to open a new fixed rate Cash ISA early in 2025/26. Providers are currently making upward tweaks to their rates to attract new funds, though these might fall once we move into the new tax year. My question is: it within ISA rules to open another Cash ISA on or before…

On Line Chat with the various institutions.
I've read on some posts that ZOPA chat is useless. Just wanted to say that I've found TRADING 212 chat to be brilliant. They keep your chat active until you decide to close it ( can be days) and take great pains to answer your query to which you can request further info.

ISA Partial transfer help please
Hello, I currently have £60,000 in a Lloyds cash ISA. I’ve not looked at interest rates yet so ignore the actual bank names, just trying to get an idea of what I’m allowed to do. So, can I partially transfer £20,000 to let’s say Nationwide and also partially transfer £20,000 to Barclays? So I would have 3 cash ISA’s all…

As the title, I'm trying to transfer a Cash ISA from trading 212 to an iWeb stocks and shares ISA. T212 require a paper form, so I filled it in and sent it to iWeb, who then sent it to T212. How do I transfer everything in the ISA?
I'm trying to transfer a Trading 212 cash ISA to a iWeb stocks and shares ISA. The only options on the iWeb form are to transfer this years subscriptions or previous year's subscriptions. Transfer into help to buy ISA
I think I know the answer to this but I thought I’d check what people thought. I have saved £12k in a cash ISA hoping I could transfer this into my help to buy ISA but it looks like I can’t do this. The govt. has put limits on how much you can pay in, and can only transfer up to £1,200k in the first month. Is this right? I…

Cash ISA Trading 212 (corrected)
Hi I opened a cash isa with Trader 212 last week via the Martin Lewis Email link (I don't have any other ISAs). I've not heard of them before but its a good rate and on MSE.
