Withdrawal of a lump sum from an ISA into a new portfolio
I currently have two Cash ISAs one opened in the 2024 tax year and the second 17/04/2025. I’ve used up both full tax free allowances. Can I transfer/withdraw £10k from the latter in this tax year and invest in a portfolio to give me better returns or do I need to wait until April 6th ?

Probably end up renting somewhere for ~£1.2k/month until we buy. I have £100k+ in a normal savings account with NatWest and still have a…

Regular Investing into S&S ISAs
Thoughts please. I want to invest £450 a month of surplus income into S&S ISAs from April onward. (I have plenty of cash to cover emergencies). MONEYBOX ISA - any advice on where to transfer to?
Hi, I opened a Moneybox ISA a year ago and the rate is dropping. I looked to transfer it to Cynergy but they will not take a transfer in from Moneybox as they (Moneybox) do not give their ISA accounts account numbers or sort codes. They use your NI number instead. When I tried to open a Cynergy account and said I would…

cash ISA for elderly parents with income to drip-feed
Parents in their late 80s, have maximum allowed in premium bonds, but thanks to robust pensions and attendance allowance, coupled with a very restricted lifestyle they have more money coming in every month than they can spend. * Hi there, * Does this apply to a pensioner? * Low earnings & savings interest. If you've an income under £12,570, the starting rate for savings lets you earn up to £5,000 in interest tax-free. For each £1 you earn above £12,570, you lose £1 of the allowance (so nowt if you earn £17,570+). * Thanks, * (Removed by Forum…
