Looking to open a Lifetime ISA
Just had a reel pop up on Instagram of Martin Lewis saying I should open a lifetime ISA and I am 40 in a couple of months so it's now or never. However I am finding it so confusing! I have also seen people saying they signed up and have been charged on their own money, but I can't understand why. Basically I am a 39 year…

Ford Money - Interest Reduction
Just received notification that Ford Money are reducing the rate on their Flexible Cash ISA from 4.04% to 3.79% on the 12th February. Have been really happy with how easy and quick it's been to withdraw and replace funds. Same day payment if requested before 1.00 pm. Might to look for a better interest rate.

Zopa mistake
I thought I'd let you forum people know, in case you didn't already, that Zopa have made a mistake and they have informed HMRC of people's ISA interest as though it was taxable interest. They have informed HMRC that they have made this error and HMRC have confirmed to them that they will correct the error on people tax…

HL JISA New Fees
Just wondered what peoples thoughts were on HL's new fees on JISAs My daughter has held a JISA with HL for a while now, I typically fund the account monthly by debit card, and buy ETFs with any cash balance on her account. As of 1st March, investing into a JISA with HL this way will attract fees (£6.95) per transaction,…

How can i find out if i've maxed Cash ISA allowance for the F/Y?
Long story short, i've been moving my main Cash ISA to various providers this year as the rates keep dropping and i keep using up all the new account bonuses, until they drop significantly. I also have a Lifetime ISA. I forgot how much i deposited this year because not all the providers track what i put in, and i've taken…

Transfer Out eToro Cash ISA
Hi everyone, hoping for some advice. I recently opened an eToro Cash ISA, but I'm not entirely happy with it. I know it is linked to a QMMF (Qualifying Money Market Fund), but the value has actually dropped over the past few days. If the interest was paid monthly, I probably wouldn't notice the daily volatility, but…

S+S ISA for house deposit
Hi all would be interested to hear any comments/advice on this My daughter has about £20k in a S+S ISA , about £15k in the bank savings (not isa) and has a LISA which again is about £15k and is maxing that out every year - so about £50k in total. MoneyBox cash ISA rate not as advertised.
I looked on MSE for the best ISA rate last week and saw MoneyBox was the top rate at 4.32% AER. I'd never heard of MoneyBox before. I downloaded the MoneyBox app and opened the cash ISA account, but the rate on my cash ISA is only 4.27% AER

Flexible ISA rules
Hi, This has been asked and answered before. I’m asking now as it’s possible the rules have changed since some of what I’ve read was originally posted. Also, there is some conflicting information on different websites. Query: I have a balance in my trading 212 flexible cash isa. Let’s say for simplicity the balance is £20k…

Just opened a Trading 212 cash ISA and trying to trqnsfer funds from my bank (Allied Irish Bank). I have never done this before, so please bear with me. Emerging LISA future rules
I have recently read an article (The Mirror: "“Lifetime ISA win for first-time buyers – but bad news for retirement savers”), which said that: "… You currently face a withdrawal penalty if you use your Lifetime ISA savings for any reason other than buying your first home or retirement. This not only wipes out the bonus,…

Best Cash Isa rates
Hi. Looking to ensure the best place for the cash as the new tax year is looming large, and I see the best rates - Trader 212 and Leeds BS are similar to Chip's rates, but Chip is nowhere to be seen in the table. Is there a problem with Chip that would exclude them from the table?

Help: ISA limit confusion
I'm not sure if i'm in a bit of a mess with my ISA limit for this year. I contributed £17,500 into Chips Flexible Cash ISA at the beginning of the tax year. I then withdrew all of this, £15,607.77 of this was after 15th July 2025 (the rule change) leaving me £0.00 in my Cash ISA. I then put £20,000 into Trading 212 stocks…

Meteor - IsBank - 1yr Fixed ISA
Hi everyone, I've just started an ISA transfer from Moneybox to Meteor to be able to open their 1 year fixed rate at 4.35%. You can't open the account until the transfer is complete so it is a gamble but my current rate with Moneybox is 4.13% and I'm sure I'll be able to get this elsewhere is Meteor remove the rate, has…

New Help to Buy ISA
I was listening to the Martin Lewis podcast and I might have misheard, but he seemed to say at one point that the new help to buy ISA which will replace the LISA, will only be avaialble as a cash savings product, and not as an investment wrapper/S&S ISA. Is that right or did I misunderstand that comment?

Withdrew money for house deposit from my Trading 212 Cash ISA, how can I replace it?
I have had a Trading 212 Cash ISA for some time. Last year, I moved my S&S with Vanguard from a GIA to an S&S ISA with them. I have now withdrawn much of my cash from the T212 ISA to pay down a flat deposit. As a result, I am being shown replaceable funds - amount of X, and my annual allowance with them as still 20K. Of…
