Is Multiple ISAs the Best Way Forward?
Never had an ISA before as I didn't have enough cash to reach the tax threshhold. Now I have. I have six savings "pots" attached to Chase for various things. Each one saves around £1000 a year. I don't really want to change how I bank but it seems those pots, together with my current account interest will start tipping me…

Cash ISA Transfer
I
follow the mse advice and when there is a better cash isa rate I transfer it. However,
twice this year the money has been released from the old cash isa on the
Friday and then it is credited to the new cash isa on the Monday. I
lost two days interest on both occasions. On over £300,000 this is a lot of
money (£38 per…

Trading 212 - what do we think?
Hi all, New to the forum so please be gentle with me. I want to invest in a cash ISA (haven't used my allowance up for 24-25 yet) and I am seriously considering Trading 212. I've used Shawbrook Bank and Charter Savings Bank in the past and had good experiences with them so I'm not new to online accounts. I know Trading 212…

Multiple stocks and share isa
It is my understanding that since April 2024 ‘the rules’ allow me to have multiple stocks and shares isa. I would like to start with a lump sum then add regular monthly savings to a managed account but I have had some difficulty finding a reputable platform that will allow me two or more separate funds. I would like to…

Transferring Cash LISA to S&S LISA? Or S&S ISA?
I wonder if anyone has any advice on this as I am struggling to find the answers. I am age 48 and took out a cash LISA when I was 39. As a home-owner this was for retirement. I've been maxing it out and now am now down to my last 18 months of being able to contribute. I am currently getting a rate of just over 3% interest.…

Why is there a 10 digit account number on the Transfer Request Form?
Cash ISA transfer from T212 to RBOS - just been sent the transfer request form to review and sign. The receiving RBOS account has a 10 digit account number that I don't recognise. Anyone know why? Lump sun in Lifetime Stock & Shares ISA now or not?
Hi all, I am going to give a few thousand pounds to my daughter as a gift (with her normal savings, she would still be under the 20K limit for ISAs). This is a portion of a small inheritance I have received and whilst I don't want to give it to her with strings attached, I would like it to make a difference in her life in…

Trading212 customer service
I opened a Trading212 ISA account and on July 3rd , in error, requested Barclays bank bereavement team to send funds from my recently deceased fathers account to Trading212. The following day I received an email from the generic info@trading212.com account explaining that they didn't accept funds from 3rd party accounts…

Invest Engine has paused any new buying of precious metal ETFs, this is due to a FCA permissions review. It seems you can hold or sell precious metal ETFs but cannot buy now. Pension to ISA Benefits?
Hi, Taking into account the freeze on the personal allowance for the forseeable, do the forum members think that taking my 25% tax free lump sum out of my pensions and using it to top up my ISA would be a good move ? . New ISA Limits advice
With ISAs switching back to a mixed cash/stock setup, here’s something I really wish I’d understood when I was younger: If you can, always max out your ISA allowance. Even if you don’t need it right now. Even if you’re not paying tax yet. Rules change, economies change, and one day you may find yourself paying far more tax…

ISA shares dripping
If you hold shares in an old ISA that pays dividends the income is not taxable. Some companies will allow you to reinvest the dividend (DRIP) into buying more shares rather than take the dividend as cash. If you decided to take this option do HMRC regard this as investing in a new ISA?

ISAs with monthly interest (and possibly some access as well)
Not sure if this is even a possibility or whether such an ISA exists but has anyone got any suggestions as to cash ISAs which add the interest on monthly. This is for new funds (but possibly I can also transfer an ISA from a previous year across). Ideally I would like easy access and fixed rate but I know this wont be…
