Flexible ISA and non-flexible ISA annual allowance rules
Hi. Is someone able to explain how I calculate my remaining ISA annual allowance? I have a flexible cash ISA and a non-flexible S&S ISA with different providers. I've paid £2000 into my non-flexible S&S ISA in the 24/25 tax year and it says I have 18,000 left of my 20,000 allowance. Throughout the 24/25 tax year I've paid…

IG S&S ISA Bonus Rate Ending
Anyone open a stocks & shares ISA with IG a few months back to avail of their 8.5% interest on uninvested cash. With rate due to drop (to I believe 4%) at start of September, I aim to transfer out to a different ISA I hold. Curious what others are thinking and if anyone has any experience with transfers out of IG. Thanks

Chip Cash ISA - different rates
Chip currently offers a Cash ISA at 4.7% but only 3.8% for previous account holders. Is it possible to close Chip completely and re-apply at a later date in order to become a 'new' account holder again? Has anyone done this after a particular time period?

Any reason to stick with Moneybox?
As above, would there be any benefit to keeping my Moneybox ISA
open with say £500? I opened the account early May with 10k new money plus a 10k
transfer in; the initial rate was 5.71% inc a newbie bonus. It then quickly
reduced to 5.46% & once the bonus expired it dropped down to 3.95%. It’s
now sitting @ 3.7% since BOE…

Flexible ISA switch funds to standard savings account?
Hi All, I'm fairly new to ISAs and was toying with the following idea; I currently have a non-flexible ISA with a few years allowance built up. £85k FSCS cap - Risk to reward appetite!
I am currently in year 3 of a 5 year fix rate ISA deal with Shawbrook Bank where I’ve been depositing my full £20k allowance each year. I secured the 5.22% deal available at the time (in 2023/2024) which I can take advantage of each new ISA year for the fixed term period. So my question is simply about the £85k FSCS limit…

Any tax due on a dealing account?
Im sure I read somewhere recently, that anyone who’s a higher-rate taxpayer (40%) and earns more than £500 in interest in a savings account is liable for tax under the PSA. Does this only apply to actual savings accounts? Im asking as i am currently maxing out my S&S ISA each year, and am adding to a dealing account where…

Transfer S&S ISA to more than 1 Cash ISA
I want to get out of the risk game (I've done quite well but have always disliked the risk element.) Current value of my S&S ISA is worth a couple of FSCS covered Cash ISAs so I'm wondering if there's such a thing as a "cash isa deposit platform" or am I thinking of something that doesn't (or doesn't need to) exist?
