Vanquis ISA

I have already made a subscription to another cash ISA this year and I'm trying to open a Vanquis ISA with the rest of my alowance.

When I start the application with Vanquis is insists you transfer my other ISA which I do not want to do stating,

'Your current years ISA subscription has to sit with one provider'

Which is incorrect as the rules were changed.(AI)

I could tick the box 'I have not subscribed to another ISA this year' to force it through without a transfer, but this would be a lie.

Is there any way to proceed or just best to choose someone else.

What was the reason to choose Vanquis? Best rate for the type of account ?

Sounds like their website/forms have not kept up with the new rules.

Just ignore it, it’s wrong, you won’t be breaking any rules. In similar situations this year I ticked the box.

They allow transfers in at a later date, without needing paper forms. Vida for example do not. While the rate is good.

But Vanquis’ statement is incorrect. You’re not borrowing money so I wouldn’t worry but obviously it’s up to you.

Yeh, it's defo not fraud. Vanquis themselves confirmed in the link above. They are looking to change it, in the mean time you tick no.That was in September.
