ISA Transfer from Kent Reliance to An Other Bank

Have completed an online transfer request with a new provider who have accepted the transfer but have advised that Kent Reliance require written authorisation. Are Kent Reliance responsible for sending me a form to complete or is this done by the new provider?

Once we have received your transfer instructions from your new provider, we may contact you by telephone or in writing to confirm your request to transfer. We might also take the opportunity to tell you about our current range of ISA products.

I have had 2 different Cash ISAs with Kent Reliance that I transferred to other providers. In both cases I completed an online form with the new provider and the new provider requested the funds to be moved from Kent Reliance.

I will say that with one of them I had to phone up the new provider as the new provider said they had requested the transfer from Kent Reliance but when I spoke to Kent Reliance they said there was no transfer request received. I then re-contacted the new provider who said they re-reqested the transfer and it then went through quickly after that.

The other one went through with absolutely no problems as soon as the maturity date happened, simply on the result of my transfer request via the new provider.

Indecision is the key to flexibility :)

I recently transferred out an EA Cash ISA from KR to Santander. It happened within 5 days, including a weekend. The only communication from KR was an acknowledgement email saying they had received the request, no action needed on my part.
