Is there an invisible mode?
Other sites I go to with similar software to MSE forum have the option for an "invisible mode" where your activity is not reported to the general userbase, just mods/admins. I like my privacy and always enable it. I can't find the option here but maybe I'm just missing something, is there such a function here?

Odd paragraph spacing
Whenever I post to MSE the paragraph spacing is all wrong. I pressed Enter once between "wrong" and "I" - fine but I'd rather have a blank line after the paragraph. Don't know if this is the correct place to ask but how do you post gifs? I used the image icon but nothing shows in the preview. Why does a poll thread get bumped whe someone votes?
Pretty sure that it never used to happen but now when someone votes on the poll, the thread gets bumped up which ever board that it is on and the time showing for last post made is updated to when the vote was cast in spite of showing the actual time the post was made when you open the thread.

'Popular now'
There's a listing on the right hand side of the forum of the supposedly popular subjects (in the last 15 minutes). I'm convinced this hasn't changed in years! If you expand it and look at the top 10, number 9 doesn't actually exist. What purpose does this serve?
