'Heartier': Innacurate description
You will see my post under 'Christmas' describing an underweight and poorly butchered "large" turkey (I have a series of photographs including one of my scales being calibrated). I paid £79 (a reduction of £40) for a 5 kg Gressingham bird, available from Ocado for less than £30. The sausages, sausage-meat and bacon would…

Jumping Smilies
Any chance these could be disabled? Is it necessary to have these things jumping up and down? Migraine sufferers/epileptics can be very badly affected. Some people even put them in their signatures. The occasional moving smilie in a post fair enough, but continuusly being confronted by them whilst following a thread in…

Inaccurate information from MSE
On re-reading some MSE news articles, forum pages and even the Cheap Energy Club, there is a crucial error in the information. (I'll also mention now that I am affected by this but hopefully it doesn't change the accuracy of my comments) All mention of Outfox that I have seen mentions the monthly fee (under whatever guise…

Resolver and Amazon
I tried to submit a claim through Resolver but got a reply from Amazon saying they won't respond as the email address is different from the one I use on their website. Just pointing this out, as I have now had to resubmit from my own email address.

Hiding/Muting a forum/sub forum

Not Spam
I see I have just been warned for using the spam button. It seems that although I assessed a post/thread as spam, MSE decided it was not spam and I have been threatened with losing posting privileges if this ever happens again. It won't be happening again, as I for one will not be using the spam button again. Is there…

Suggestion for improvement - "Title" is misunderstood
Not uncommon to see a post by a newbie where the title of the post is their surname. They mistake "title' as meaning not the title of the post but, their title, say "Mr AJ" for me, or as here "Miss Mack" which means the OPs name can be deduced. My suggestion is, change "title" to something else, perhaps "Subject" or…

Go Effortless Energy feedback thread - locked
MSE has feedback threads for each energy supplier on the Energy board. The MSE feedback thread for Go Effortless Energy is here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5292460/add-your-feedback-on-energy-supplier-go-effortless-energy However, it appears to have been locked with no replies (perhaps because of that…

MSE Emails being rejected

Inappropriate language in today's newsletter
I can't believe that Martin feels that it is at all appropriate to begin today's newsletter with the following salvo of inappropriate language: "If stores tweak your spending nipples, and make you buy unplanned things, it's a loss." Please find a more civil & less offensive way of encouraging us to engage with your…
