Password issue. Help please.
I have misplaced my password. It is still saved on my tablet but not anywhere else. When I go to reset password on phone by entering my e-mail it says not recognised and the forum e-mail does not work. Can you help. Thanking you.

Email telling me I'd requested a new password
Hi, I had an email tonight to say I'd requested a password change, then another email with a new password. I didn't request these. Has anyone else had any issues? I've now changed the pw and email to update security. There is another user called mumstheword (all lower case)... Perhaps she tried logging in using a capital?!

Requesting previous weeks' tips emails
Is it possible to request the previous weekly tips emails to be resent? I was looking at my emails tonight and noticed that the last MSE Weekly Tips email I had was from 27th December 2018, the ones for this year so far aren't there, and I can't find them (yet). I've unsubscribed and resubscribed so I've got this week's…

Glitches logging in and replying to threads.
1) I often encounter the same experience when logging in - I get messages telling me i have entered incorrect user or password and to try again with only x number of 'trys' left. Yet, i'm actually logged in ! Before it dawned on me that i was logged in i'd keep trying and eventually get logged out. Is there something you…

Banned by MSE
My home IP address has been BANNED by MSE No reason given - just a message "Sorry. The administrator has banned your IP address" whenever I try to access (even READ !) any posting ! I have emailed "MSE Support" - but why has this happened I am posting this via VPN - Which proves that it is not an account related issue ! I…

The "Is This Quote Fair" Board
EDIT 29/1/19 - I'm trying again and have put a post with a poll on it on the In My Home Board. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5957262/poll-do-you-think-is-this-quote-fair-board-is-helpful-as-a-sub-board The board is a sub-board of the "In My Home (including DIY)" board. It is rarely ever used and the…

DIY Project section?
Been thinking about this for a while. I often visit over another forum that has this sub-forum but it’s mainly focussed on AV / Cinema builds. If the DIY section had a sub-forum where members could post threads about their DIY progress with pictures other members could get ideas, ask questions etc.. A big thread could…

Thank You
A "Thank You" to the forum team who have recently helped me regain access to my forum account that I had lost for an unknown reason. Thank you, forum team for your help. Reading other posts, you get a lot of stick sometimes, but you have helped me. :)

Please delete my account
Hello, I no longer wish to use this forum so please can I ask that my account is deleted? Sorry I cannot see instructions for this anywhere on the site, hence this post. Thank you.

Please can we invite an FCA representative for Q&A
MSE used to invite people on to answer forum questions. Any chance we could revive that? Over on Savings and Investments we have been discussing a number of loopholes in the regulations which are resulting in unscrupulous firms scamming money off naive investors. It would be great to put them to the FCA and see if anything…

Is there a way to change user name?
I've looked under User CP and can't see an option to change user name. Any tips?

Appearance.
Sorry to bring this up and I'm a bit too lazy to trawl threads to find the solution. Especially after setting everything up again on this laptop! I've had to reset my computer and as a result lost the Firefox add on with which it was possible to fill the screen rather than a third of it with this silly layout. I'm sure it…

Copyright
A few years ago, MSE stated that for any pictures uploaded on to the site, that MSE held copyright and that they could use. Does this still remain in place? There was a cross stitch cafe where members post photos of their work, but there was much unhappiness that MSE took copyright.

Application Firewall Error - 65% of posts mainly just text
TL;DR - My requests to post keep getting blocked - I would send a screenshot but it keeps getting blocked Problem Every day about 2/3 of my mainly text posts get a pop up saying my request has been blocked "if you feel you have been blocked in error please contact ...." I contacted them a few days ago but no reply.…

Resurrecting old threads
Periodically an old inactive thread on MSE is resurrected, in virtually every case the post either adds nothing to what's been said earlier, or should really be a new thread in it's own right. Does the software behind the forum provide the functionality to automatically close threads which have seen no posts for a certain…

Can't access Cheap Energy Club comparison
I'm not sure if this is the best place to post but I've been trying to access my comparison on Cheap Energy Club for several days now, and the site just whirs and whirs and whirs ... with no result. Have tried on a couple of different browsers. If anyone can advise, it would be most appreciated!

'Heartier': Innacurate description
You will see my post under 'Christmas' describing an underweight and poorly butchered "large" turkey (I have a series of photographs including one of my scales being calibrated). I paid £79 (a reduction of £40) for a 5 kg Gressingham bird, available from Ocado for less than £30. The sausages, sausage-meat and bacon would…

Jumping Smilies
Any chance these could be disabled? Is it necessary to have these things jumping up and down? Migraine sufferers/epileptics can be very badly affected. Some people even put them in their signatures. The occasional moving smilie in a post fair enough, but continuusly being confronted by them whilst following a thread in…
