Can't find link to block a user

One of the forums has acquired an enthusiastic troll who's derailing a lot of threads. I want to block them. Advice on the forum was to click on 'View public profile' under their username, then 'User lists' then there's a block option.

I can't see the 'User lists' link mentioned above. People have described where it should be on the public profile page but I can't see it, on either mobile or in Chrome on a desktop.

I'm probably still being completely blind, but can anyone point me in the right direction, or is there any other way to get to the page where you can block users?

On a desktop :

Click on user name
View Public Profile
User Lists (top left of screen)
Add to Ignore List

Step three is where I'm getting stuck. I have no link that says 'user lists'.

In the top-left I have the breadcrumb which has a 'Members list' link, but that takes me to an alphabetical list of all users and I can't see a block option from there.

On the public profile page I tried Ctrl-F then searching for 'user' (to find user lists). It says there's one result on the page but it's not highlighting it and I can't see it anywhere. I also tried searching the page source code for 'user lists' and can't find it.

just below the persons name and above (on green version) the green bar you should see in small writing 'send message' and 'user list' but it needs to be the person that you want to block, if you have been clicking on your own profile page then you wont see the user list to click on.

To get to here, I clicked on their username alongside one of their posts, then clicked on 'View public profile'.

I know you haven't got the full length of the page there but there's definitely no link further down.

(I don't mind showing who I'm trying to block - there's been discussion about how to block them on the relevant forum :rotfl:)

you could try switching to the green forum, then do as molerat suggested in post 2, and switch back to blue, if you prefer that.

There may be an option in your User CP, in the green version their is an Edit Ignore List button. I am not going to log in to blue to check in case it won't let me go back

Hang on a minute.... Are you all still on the forum design from a few years ago? I remember the furore when it changed!

How do I go back?! Is there a link that'll push me onto the green version? I didn't realise it still existed! It's like the Upside Down in Stranger Things. :rotfl:

Go to User CP scroll down to bottom, Manage Forum Version.
