Travel money advice
I wish MSE researchers would update the info on the travel money page more frequently. Having tried two companies which apparently accepted debit cards, I found one only accepted bank transfers and the other was unable to accept a debit card until 1 September 2018. I gave up at this stage. I hope MSE read this post but I…

BST to GMT
Has BST (British Summertime) ended? Are we now back in the days of GMT or has the government decreed that BST is finished? Anyone else noticed that site times seem to randomly switch between BST and GMT - last week, BST and GMT, then back to BST, today, GMT. Preparing for the clocks going back?

Dt
There has been a lot of discussion about closed/removed/deleted threads down there on DT, perhaps the time is right for a sticky updating what is/isnt permissible on DT? Even more to the point isn't it about time that MSE had in some forums moderators and not board guides? I'm only echoing the thoughts of some/many regular…

Brexit discussions
Hi folks We're considering placing a ban on all discussion about Brexit. It would be a shame to do this. We feel many of you are able to discuss the topic in a friendly manner. However, my team is receiving too many reports about posts that are a) rude about another forum member b) argumentative c) disagreement d)…

Thanks
I've just discovered that even after a thread has been closed to further posting, you can still Thank someone in the thread. It's like a sort of silent sit-down demonstration, or standing in front of a tank holding out a flower. :)

Is it possible to block certain users?
There's a particular user on this site who is intent on making my experience of using this forum particularly unpleasant by hijacking threads I start with unrelated issues and even to the point of looking back over comments I've made years in the past and then using them against me. Is it possible to block certain users…

End of tenancy deposit dispute
My daughter has special needs and was living in supported living with 2 friends, during this time her shower backed up due to a blockage, we were informed that this was covered by the landlords insurance. She gave notice to quit some 5/6 months after this. The landlord, despite not requesting any repayments in the interim…

2003/2004 Forum messages
I appreciate my thread is neither a Praise,Vent or Warning but I didn't know where else to go so please re-direct me as necessary :) Re the tons of messages on the Boards which date back to the early 2000s - is it not possible for them to be deleted as surely their significance is zero 15/16 years later?

Spacing between paragraphs
The forum seems to add additional space between paragraphs in my posts. Here's an example (post no 4) https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5877824/charges-against-property-letting-it If I edit a post I can remove the additional returns and save so that the spacing is correct. I'm using a Windows 10 PC and…

Huh??
Am I having a bit of a moment, or has my thread about beggars disappeared? I started it less than an hour ago, and it had about half a dozen replies, none of which were contentious as far as I could see?

Suggestion for a new sub-forum
Only just occurred to me there is no sub-forum specifically for cooking, such a section could also cover wine making, brewing, making preserves/chutneys etc The old style money saving sub-forum is probably the closest match but I do think a dedicated section would be more useful, what does everyone else think?

council tax
I have recently had notice of alteration from the VOA to correct my council tax banding from a C to B this also states in the letter that the effective date is 2002,but my local council have only gone back to 2009/2010 so having looked on the form site and what other people have been awarded most councils go back the the…
