Viewing latest unread post in subscribed threads

I recently switched to the new forum view, after years stubbornly sticking to the old original green/white forum view.
In the old view I could click on Subscriptions ( https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/subscription.php ), and there would be a link on each thread to go to the first unread post so I could continue reading where I left off.
In the new forum software there doesn't seem to be an equivalent feature - there's only "Latest post" which goes straight to the very last post in the thread, which is unhelpful, or clicking to thread title goes straight to the very first post. This is making it unusable to follow long threads. Am I missing something or is this feature not present in the current software version?

I would very much like to know this too (I did post a thread somewhere else about this but nobody seemed to know).

I don't think it's possible. I switched back to the old forum view
