Here's a hilarious little bug.
1. Click on a multi-page thread you've not read before. The URL is <link to thread>#latest. You've not read anything before, so it shows you page 1.
2. Read page 1, click page 2.
3. Realise you need to re-read something from page 1, press your browser's Back button. You're now looking at... page 3! Because it's taken you "back" to <link to thread>#latest, but the #latest unread post for you is now on page 3

Exactly the same bug, but just to highlight another symptom of the same problem:
1. Click on a 2-page thread you've not read before.
2. Read page 1, click page 2, read to the end.
3. Press Back. It appears not to do anything, cos it loads page 2 and scrolls to the end again.0
