'All of a sudden' my email inbox is being deluged by new post notifications, previously I never had any.
How do I switch this off?
Thanks

The difference seems to be the old forum would send you one notification for a thread with a new post (and no more emails about that thread until you visited the forum again).
The new forum seems to send you an email for every single reply I think.Temrael
Don't use a long word when a diminutive one will suffice.1 -
I never got any emails before, now I seem to get one every time anyone posts on any threads I have ever posted on.
I have found some check boxes in my profile so hopefully the problem is now fixed.

ETA: I've just found another way of getting to it. If you click on the Notifications bell symbol at the top, at the top of the drop-down that appears, there's a settings button you can click.2 -
I used to have digests of new posts now I'm deluged with each post - has the digest option disappeared?Free thinker.:cool:0

I am receiving emails to an address that's no longer on my profile. Therefore, I can't turn them off. This means the address has been retained somewhere in the depths of the site without permission and I would like it removing, please. I don't want to block messages from MSE as I collect multiple emails in one place. But I'm getting everything twice and have been forced to cancel notification emails when there are some I want.
