It would be hugely helpful if we could see at a glance when the person who started a thread posts a reply to it. Maybe a different colour of background shading on their posts? With the number of replies some posts attract, it can be hard to look through and pick out the replies from the OP. And sometimes they never bother…

Personally I would just ignore this post.
That was the response I received as a new user to my third post on this site. A nice welcome to MSE ... NOT! I can see those warnings on TrustPilot about this forum are well founded, at least as far as a few posters here are concerned. As I have read, yes this forum is indeed broken :(

Buttons not vanishing
Not important but when I click thanks on a post my thanks comes up below but the button is still there. Takes a second click to get it to vanish. Only been happening for the past few days. Forum is definitely broke like you say!

Link posting loophole for Newbies
