Slow loading - blank white screens

The forum is going incredibly slowly tonight - taking up to a minute to load a page (and it's not my connection!) leaving just a blank white screen. Is someone fixing something behind the scenes and slowing it down? Or has somebody changed something?

Glad it is not just me.
Not quite a minute but I have timed some at 20 seconds to load but mostly it is 10 seconds no matter what time of day and whether I am clicking an internal link or even going back a page with the browser (Edge) button.
